Good well thought out questions about writing issues one would actually face. The usual "how do you get developers to work with you to do doc"'and "how do you juggle tasks". One question put me on defensive and got me depressed--why if you were at this top university did you choose path a instead of path b? This was so much about the nature of women in technology back then that I knew this young male interviewer would never understand. It threw me and I had to quickly give another reason. It was like sayinf to a guy from The Midwest 50 years old why did you choose tap instead of ballet when you clearly love ballet and you were at juliard and could have worked wirh barishnikov? Well women in tech were so rare then and I had been told that I would never have a happy life if I pursued a male dominant career--and that I would intimidate men and never get married--yes it was like that there in the 1980s-- even though that was of course false. What I am saying is that there was a real culture age and gender gap there. It is a problem that they don't even know they have. I am currently in a great job where my manger is half my age and we get along great because of mutual respect and because we aren't hyper aware of it--but I felt they were too aware of that at mulesoft and ultimately they are going to keep picking men in their 20s and lose out on a lot of talent.
