Difficult interview
Application
I interviewed at MuleSoft
Interview
Multistage process featuring multiple rounds of traditional interviews and ultimately included a mock presentation simulating a real life project steering committee meeting.
Mulesoft employees portrayed the company in a very positive light.
Simulation was a bit difficult because I made a number of assumptions that would benefit me in a real life scenario (ie: creating action plans to address risks and issues in advance of the simulated meeting), but did not help me in the simulation which depends upon discussing them and creating those plans within the simulation).

How you start a project?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MuleSoft in Feb 2022
Interview
1 hour interview with peer and manager and 1.5 hour case presentation with a panel. Interview process is thorough and you need solid effort to prepare. There are lot of resources on the internet/ youtube - learn as much as you can and soak up the information for a good interview especially to perform like a pro in the case round. They also provide immediate feedback right after presentation which I greatly apprecaited because some companies make you work hard for the interview and then never really bother to give you feedback, that may seem like a time waste. Any positive or negative feedback is always appreciated by candidates and help them grow.
