      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft (Sídney) in Jun 2020

      Interview

Two formal interview meetings, one panel presentation and a few informal phone calls with senior stakeholders. Completed over a month and a half 100% aligned with expectations set at the start of the process. Continuous coaching / support from recruiters during the process.

      Question 1

What interests do you have beyond work

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft in Apr 2020

      Interview

Very difficult and extremely thorough process. Initial call with recruiter, meeting with hiring manager (RVP), meeting with RVP peer (for another team, another meeting with another RVP peer, meeting with SVP (RVP bosses boss), panel mock presentation (with 2 RVP’s, AVP, SVP, and Director of SE’s). This final presentation was very challenging even though it was the product I was currently selling. The tag team question asking, multi-tiered questions, off topic questions to make me refocus the audience, challenge questions around competition/change management/reallocation of resources, etc., all made for a very difficult session that you had to be 100% prepared and 110% on your A game. Luckily I love these situations and thrive in them so while it was very hard, I actually had fun doing it. The bar they set for hiring is very high. This makes for a tough interview process but it’s great to know they do this for everyone across all departments and functions so you know that you will be working with the best and brightest. The process was laid out in detail for me from the start. At each stage I was given the ability to ask questions prior to the next step to make sure I was fully prepared. Their process is difficult but very fair. As another reviewer had stated, I went from open to learning more to fully engaged in hot pursuit of this role because of how incredibly sharp the people were that I was being interviewed by. Be prepared, be focused and be able to pivot without losing sight of your overall objectives and you should find this process to be a rewarding one.

      Question 1

Explain in detail how you build and analyze a territory strategy, and how do you execute on that strategy? Also how, when and why would you alter the strategy?

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at MuleSoft in Jul 2019

      Interview

Very thorough and engaging process. Interviewed with multiple sales leaders across the country. All interviewers asked great questions and were very supportive. You can tell this is a team focused environment with a culture of feedback and continuous improvement. I went from wanting to learn more about the opportunity to making this my top choice of the companies I was evaluating because of the depth of the process and the great people I met throughout the process.
