The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Monica Vinader (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
Skype interview (standard but completely humorless) followed by a ridiculous, timed one hour “operational” task, which clearly speaks to the control-freak tendencies of the powers-that-be. Dodged a bullet on this one.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Monica Vinader
Interview
Group itv and then role play.
I never had in my life such a bad experience in an interview, due to the lady from HR.
She didn't like me from the very beginning for a reason I cannot explain. I am thinking that the fact I am not British was a huge part of it. We had a role play in which she participated and was rude to me from the second she entered the room.
I used to love this company and have been completely disappointed and felt humiliated. I always prepare my interviews thoroughly and it was a big waste of time as there was nothing I could say or do, she was looking down to me making me feel worthless.
I have many recommendations letters in any company I worked for and have always been highly committed with good presentation. I will not step in their stores anymore in my life.
Face to Face interview in King’s Cross felt the interview was very unprofessional and the interviewer didn’t seem interested.
It felt like they already knew who they were looking for and it wasn’t me they didn’t really listen to the responses from the questions
