I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Baltimore, MD) in Jul 2015
Interview
Short, easy interview. I was taken in the back and had a 1:1 interview with the manager. He asked me about 3 pages worth of questions and I had to read about the history of the company. Then I had to take a test on what I read.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Plainview, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied online and a few days later i got a call from one of the managers. That interview lasted about 7 minuted because the guy who interviewed me said he wasn't the general manager so he couldn't make the decision. A week later when the general manager came back from vacation, I got a call asking if I could come in for an interview with the general manager. When i went in i was brought back to the office and she asked me simple questions like "Why would you like to have this job?". This interview lasted about 40 minutes and a week later or so, i got a call asking if i wanted to start two days after the call.
