Contacted by Microsoft recruiter and Was Invited for One hiring event with 4 interview rounds with Senior Software developers in Microsoft Redmond office. Engineers were nice and friendly. coding questions were to be done on white board.
I received verbal offer from Microsoft recruiter on second day but have not heard anything back in couple of months for further steps. Although engineers were great. Still very much scope of improving very slow and inconsistent recruitment process.

Microsoft flew me out to WA and paid for the stay there, including travel expenses, food, etc. The interview experience was very position -- every interview felt like a nice conversation you would have with a fellow engineer.
