I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft in Sep 2025
Interview
Applied online. After the initial screening questions, I was invited to schedule an interview and provided my availability. After that, communication stopped completely—no replies to emails, and even the listed contact number was invalid. Two days before the interview, I had to reschedule due to a conflict and eventually discovered that the recruiting contact had changed without any notice. The new representative helped reschedule and clarified the process. Then, another two weeks passed with no updates. When I checked the application portal, I found that my application had been withdrawn without any notification. Later I was told that the original recruiter had left the company and my application had not been properly handled. The position had been filled internally, and all remaining applicants were rejected without communication. The process was disorganized and lacked transparency.
Avoid applying here if you expect professional handling of your application, which is the most basic thing for every single company.
Smooth, Thorough and professional. They wanted to know about my competencies as well as my values to ensure alignment and consistency. They were clear about expectations and when I would know if I got the job.
