I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (Români) in May 2022
Interview
First step was a Leetcode test which contained 3 algorithms, from easy to medium difficulty. If you scored more than 60% you are admitted to the next stage. Afterwards there were 3 technical interviews and 1 for growth mindset. There were 2 algorithms in the interviews and one was more about architecture. Other questions were related to experience and the technologies which were optional to know about but for me were a plus and probably the reason I was accepted, since I was a bit more rusty on the algorithmic side. The atmosphere was good to great, people laugh and encourage you to ask questions and be as vocal as possible.

How would you create an automatic taxing system for home electricity?
Expect a lengthy hiring process that can take at least two months from start to finish. In my experience, there was approximately one month of interviews followed by another month waiting for the final decision. Be prepared for a slow timeline, especially after completing all interview stages.
