OA followed by 4 onsite interviews.
OA: 3 questions were given to complete in 60 minutes. Can't say the exact questions as I signed NDA. But go through the Leetcode Discuss section for Microsoft OA, you might get lucky. All of the questions were pretty easy to complete in 60 minutes. (Tips: They mention in the question what they want in the answer: like correctness or optimization, so solve the questions accordingly and try to write comments in the code).
Onsite: After 2 days I got confirmation that they will move forward to onsite and will schedule the Onsite in the day of hiring event. N.B: In the hiring event onsite date is fixed and they mentions it in the job posting. Then I got more than one month for the on site preparation. Onsite had 4 rounds each 45 mins.
There were 4 rounds in the onsite. Again can't give the exact questions as I signed NDA.
1st round: First 15 mins were behavioral and current projects. Then I was asked a question which is a combination of system design and OOP design. Interviewer came up with follow up questions. In the last 10 mins I was asked to write a small API for parsing some data. I wrote the code and there was a bug in my code which I found out when I dry ran the code. Interview lasted for more than 50 mins.
2nd Round: First 10-12 mins were behavioral. Then I was asked a popular design question. There were lots of follow up questions. Follow up questions actually helped me to improve my design. No coding question in this round.
3rd Round: First 10-12 mins were behavioral. Then I was asked an array question which I solved using modified binary search. It was a leetcode medium level question but I did not see this question in leetcode before.
4th Round: First 10 mins were behavioral. Then I was asked an Tree question. The tree was N-ary. Used BFS to solve the problem. It was a leetcode medium level question.
