Microsoft Software Engineer interview questions

Focus on Data Structures and Algorithms. Knowledge of BST, stacks, hash tables is essential. Graph Algorithms and Dynamic Programming are covered too. I was asked a question on Topological sorting (implement it with and without stacks ) and another algorithms designing question involving BST. You must be able to produce a working code of the algorithm

The first interviewer had not even glanced at my resume and was dismayed when I turned out to be an experienced professional and not fresh out of college. I was never asked about my professional experience nor any technology-specific questions which was a surprise to me. I felt like age discrimination was a factor and was uncomfortable for the rest of the day continuing only for the experience.
