MOST IMPORTANT I GUESS: BRAIN TEASER
Read a book about it, do as many as you can becasue even when u'll shine in previous questions I guess answering this is crucial. I had a brain teaser about 25 horses and choosing 3 fastest. Google it. It won't matter because I think that their teasers don't repeat so often.
I applied online and heard back the next day from the recruiter. The recruiter was very slow and would take at least three to four days to respond, that also after you send a follow up email.
The interview with the recruiter went well. She was supposed to send me an assessment after the call before we proceeded to the next step. I waited for the assessment links but she never sent it. I sent her a polite follow up email and she gave a poor excuse and then sent the assessment link the next day. I completed the assessment and felt pretty confident that I did well in it. The recruiter confirmed that I scored well and they would proceed with me for the next stage with the hiring manager.
After some more delays, she finally scheduled my interview. And then re-scheduled it because the manager was having some technical issues. I was supposed to have a 45 minute interview with the hiring manager but on the day of the interview, the manager rushed the interview without asking any proper questions and ended the interview in 15 mins. I was so baffled. At the end, I was sent a clipped rejection email with a pitiful excuse.
Honestly, the whole process was so slow and unprofessional.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MicroStrategy (Varsovia, Mazovia) in Jun 2019
Interview
The interview was for an entry-level rotation programme position, so it was very general. It focused on personality and motivation to learn new tools (Microstrategy Platform). A big part in the recruitment process played my CV which was the main reason I ended up getting an offer.
