Initially, the interviewing process was very positive. The recruiter and HR business partner were quick to reply and nurturing, for lack of a better word. I felt really valued and that they were supportive as I went from recruiter screen to onsite. The onsite was a great experience - I wasn't sure if this was the next role I wanted in my career, but would have said yes to work with the team. Onsite was interviewing with 3 members of the direct team, and 2 reps from other teams (eng and product).
Ultimately, I left feeling like I wasn't the right person for 2 of the members, but that the other 3 interviews went well.
I sent a thank you email over the weekend and asked for a timeline update. No reply.
Over two weeks later, I saw the job description was taken down, but I still didn't get a rejection email.
Ultimately, the interviewing process was a negative experience. After committing to a long onsite that required a full day off of work, not to mention 3 phone calls/interviews, I expected to know where I stood - whether it was a flat-out rejection or standard "we're interviewing other candidates."
