I applied through college or university. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at MetLife (State College, PA) in Feb 2016
Interview
There was one on campus interview with basic behavioral questions. I then got an email inviting me to their office in which I underwent a non-technical case interview and three more behavioral interviews with managers. Once this was done I got a call about a month later with the offer.

Question 1
What was one thing you found to be difficult that you were able to overcome and how did you do it.
I applied online. I interviewed at MetLife (Raleigh, NC) in Jan 2014
Interview
A HR called and send email for a software developer position. Classic HR questions; information about yourself, why do you want to work at MetLife. How much you were making in your last job etc. Turns out some other outsourced HR calls you back from Infusion. This HR asks similar question just like first HR. Waste of time. HR asks pre-selected scripted question. The questions are not so difficult; however, It questions HR asking technical questions? It seam it does not matter developer skill and experience. It seems Infusion wants to hire their own friends or employees. This location has a very high off-shore [INDIA] component and also a very high attrition as they are in a massive hiring phase to meet the 1,200 employee quota to get their tax benefits from the state and Cary. So they fire first than hire. Hence, massive hiring, no investment in the person they are hiring. Finally, very very low salary for the area.
Don’t waste your time. Look somewhere else with better opportunities.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MetLife (Raleigh, NC)
Interview
Initial communications took place via email to set up a phone screen about three to four weeks after I submitted my application. They ask the basic HR questions then they set you up with another phone screen, about a week or two later, that has more to do with the position. After that they set up a technical interview, about two weeks later, with two different people. One asked programming specific questions, the other asked data and analysis specific questions. Once those were complete, they told me it would be at least a week to two weeks before I heard anything.
