sell this water bottle. why do you want this position, why do you want to sell our product, why do you like our company, 5 year plan
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Merck (Los Angeles, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
Usually one or two phone screen interviews followed by a panel interview. Pretty straight forward to most of what the books say. Scripted questions with the usual answers. Be ready to answer how you deal with rejection as well as how you self motivate each day
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Merck (Philadelphia, PA) in Dec 2018
Interview
For me the process took months. Started off with a phone screen, then a phone call to set a time then an over the phone interview with three people. After I hadnt heard anything for a while they told me that one of the positions I applied to (applied to MD and DC) had closed but encouraged me to apply to one in PA. I never heard anything about my application to the DC posting. I spoke on the phone with some people from the PA posting and they decided to have me come down in person to interview (about a 4-5 hour drive for me). Everyone was extremely nice and informative, very good interview. After all this I never heard back from them. I even reached out to the original recruiter to see if she could provide me with any information but she never responded to my email.
