I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Merck in Mar 2020
Interview
Straightforward and well managed. Due to the pandemic, it was held online with Merck's online meeting system. A seminar presentation was held first, and the interview was group by group (2-4 each group), to evaluate your skills and capability, and also questions about your seminar presentation.

Question 1
How do you evaluate yourself to fit in this position?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Merck (New York, NY) in Feb 2016
Interview
A whole day full of interviews with about 15 scientists. I went to dinner a night before, which was really nice to meet some of them members. During the interview day, I was promised a tour of the building, but never received one. Then afterwards, I was asked questions concerning the tour of the building during the interview, which felt weird that I was expected to answer questions when I shared that I never received the tour. Also one of my interviewers had a schedule change and I was left in a waiting room for half an hour for my the next interviewer.
Overall, the interviews that I had were great, but there were small organization issues.
