I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mercer (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Jun 2019
Interview
The entire team at Mercer throughout my 4 interviews were just so friendly and welcoming towards me. I felt at ease straight away and always left my interviews feeling excited and optimistic.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mercer (Dublín, Dublín)
Interview
Two part interview process split into a traditional interview with the manager and designer. The practical was tricky. The brief may be written in a confusing way (maybe to replicate briefs that aren't straight forward). I approached it trying to use proper techniques I had learned but it wasn't about that. When shown the solutions they were again 'tricks' to hide things on screen rather than actual learned techniques. Which is fine too. It being Mercer, I'd just expected it to be more straight forward.
I didn't get the role. Which was fine. The poorest part about it was that I gave up two half days from my job to do the interviews and never even got a confirmation message about not getting the job. It gave me a really poor ungrateful impression.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Mercer (Des Moines, IA) in Dec 2009
Interview
The interview process was rather long. The whole thing from start to me starting work there spanned a period of 4 months. I talked to an HR rep several times who was in another state over the phone and then they called me in for an interview where I talked with three different people I would actually be working with (one at a time) - my manager and two other people. I believe I found out I got the position fairly soon after that - maybe a week or so. Salary negotiations took place with the HR rep over the phone once an offer was made - and that took about 2 weeks as well to get everything agreed upon and settled. Then I didn't actually start until several months later. There were no tests I needed to take.

Question 1
There weren't any tricky questions at my interview. They asked things they actually wanted to know. Perhaps something about have I dealt with a difficult client before - (because we do that frequently here) and how I may have handled it - or how I would handle it.
