I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer in Apr 2019
Interview
The first few rounds were the usual behavioral and case interviews. The final round was not pleasant. The interviewer said “please leave” as the case interview was coming to an end - and I hadn’t event taken a seat or anything.

Why Mercer

Case: how will you fix traffic issue in rural place
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mercer in Sep 2024
Interview
Interview was sort of a relaxed conversation on C&B and mobility techniques. Most of the questions were situational, drawing a lot from my previous experiences. Basics of benchmarking, sector-specific and market specific knowledge were also assessed.
However, there was no follow-up by the Mercer recruiting team, and so I would definitely dissuade prospective candidates from applying for HR Consulting roles, especially if you happen to belong to pedigree colleges like XLRI, TISS or IIMs.
