I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mercer (Vancouver, BC) in Mar 2017
Interview
I came across the position via an employee referral. Sent in my resume and was initially screened through a brief phone interview. This was followed by a series of interviews (4 separate sessions, some on the same day). Each interview was with 1-2 people, and there was a half-hour skills testing case study.
A range of questions were asked, mostly to expand on previous work experience and situational questions i.e. "Can you describe a time when you ... " I was also asked to explain how I thought I would contribute to the team, based on what my background/training and work experience. I have a non-traditional (i.e. not insurance/business/actuarial) education background and had worked in a variety of roles/industries before interviewing for this job.
