Mercedes-Benz Group Software Developer interview questions

After a short phone interview I was invited for an on site interview. I was mainly asked questions about my CV, but there was no technical assessment. Two weeks later, I received an offer which was ridiculously low, something like 20% below what peer companies pay. When I phoned them back to negotiate the offer I learned that it was all fixed down to the penny (no exaggeration) and there was no slack whatsoever. The skills and competencies you bring to the table are obviously not a part their equation, since they don't test for it. As a plus though, they offer a company car programme, which is nice but according to their employee parking lot, none of the employees can afford it.

Sehr angenehm, nach einer kurzen Vorstellung wurde auf fachlicher Ebene weiter gemacht. Die Vorstellung lief mit den üblichen Fragen, was können Sie gut, wo haben Sie Schwächen usw.. Zusätzlich gingen Sie auf meinen bisherigen Werdegang ein, was ich an den jeweiligen Station alles gemacht habe. Danach ging es dann konkret um die Stelle und deren Anforderungen, was mich genau erwartet.
