I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Menards (Dickinson, ND) in Aug 2015
Interview
The interview consisted of really basic questions about availability (days of week, times) (most morning stockers start at 5am and work to 9am or 10am). There were questions about retail experience and whether or not you have reliable transportation. No hard hitting questions were asked at all. Was given a job offer the same day as the interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Menards (Moline, IL) in Jun 2015
Interview
3 step process, with drug test. Questions were straight forward. The process took longer than it should but wasn't too bad. They make you fill out the application in person and screen you from there and schedule the interview immediately if they are interested in you.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Menards (Gurnee, IL) in Dec 2015
Interview
Interview was one on one. Had to fill out a two sided pre screening employment sheet. It was straight forward some questions will try to mess you up once I passed that. Then me and the interviewer who very nice went over my job history, asked if I would be comfortable talking to customers, what job I would be doing. Also asked about my references and what they would say about me if they were to call them. If the interviewer feels like he or she wants to move forward then fill out another survey on the computer asking questions about food stamps ssi etc. Followed by the drug test forms that will be given to you to take your drug test. Then after that it's on to orientation.
