Applied for a position at the Normal, Illinois location. A few days later, I was asked to schedule an interview. I go to the interview, and I am interviewed by someone from HR and the department manager. Neither of them were particularly friendly and both looked miserable even though I was nice as could be to them. I have a college degree, a great work history and was available to work any day and any hours, yet I got a rejection the day after the interview. Really? I was even willing to take the starting wage. Oh, well. Based on their unfriendly demeanor, I don't think I would have enjoyed the atmosphere anyway.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Menards (Springfield, MO) in Sep 2022
Interview
Super easy, an in person interview and questionnaire. I was hired on the next day. Interview questions were simple common sense questions like "What would you do if you caught a patron stealing?"
