I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Boston, MA) in Feb 2017
Interview
One phone interview with hiring manager, followed by day-long onsite interviews. There were 6 one to one 30 minutes interviews onsite with R&D Managers and other engineers. Most of them were technical interviews with some questions about past projects and experience. During lunch time, I gave a 45 minutes presentation about one technical challenge I had solved in the past.

Question 1
Experiences of working in a team and handling projects
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Medtronic (Boulder, CO) in Sep 2016
Interview
I applied online through an employee referral. I was invited to an email about 1 week later at the Boulder, Colorado office. 8 people were interviewing the same day. I had 3 interviews each with 2 engineers and each lasted 30 minutes. By the 3rd interview, it was basically all the same questions as from the first two. None of the interviews were with the hiring manager. The process was way too rushed, not very efficient, and I left not really knowing what I would be doing there as an engineer. I had very little time to ask questions. I received an email the day after my interview saying I was not a good fit. The good part about the interview process here is that the whole application, interview and result was done within about 2 weeks.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medtronic (Saint Louis, MO) in Sep 2012
Interview
Started with a phone call from a former co-worker who is now a manager. Had two phone interviews discussing the position along with my qualifications. Finally scheduled a face-to-face interview. Met with multiple managers (personnel and project) during the interview. Overall interview time was a good 4 to 5 hours.
