I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Medallia
Interview
Quick process but complete lack of continuity between interviewers. No one really knew what was going on or had any insight into the process. The recruiter and peer interviews were great .

Question 1
Why sales? Why Medallia? Why are you leaving your current role
Unprofessional recruiter.
He spontaneously reached out to me on LinkedIn.
Over the phone, he didn't even bother to ask me if I had any questions.
When I said that I had some questions, he snorted (really absurd) and he tried to close the conversation asap because he had clearly not enough knowledge of the company (he is currently working as a contractor and new).
He didn't provide any feedback even though he mentioned that he would have reached out.
Very bad recruiter.

Question 1
The usual - the recruiter was very unprofessional.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Medallia (Austin, TX) in Dec 2018
Interview
2 phone screens, one with the recruiter and one with the hiring manager. Then the "SDR challenge" which is researching a company and drafting a prospecting email. Do your research and don't pick a brand who's already a customer. Then they invite you for an onsite where you talk to 3-4 more people. There's also the "Medallia interview" which for me was over Skype, which is less about your qualifications and more about your decision-making, values, life choices, etc.
