I had two interviews with Medallia, the first was just the initial screening interview, and the second should have been a more in depth interview with a hiring manager.
The only thing that was challenging was the fact that the hiring manager only asked a single question (Tell me about yourself) which I was happy to answer, and then I was required to fill the rest of the 45 minute interview with questions that I had. This was no issue, as I always come prepared with lots of questions, but it is a bit unusual for the interviewee to handle the interview at this level of the process. It made it seem like the interviewer had somewhere else to be, especially when most of my answers came in 1-2 minutes. There were several questions they could not answer, even though I had signed an NDA to continue with the process. It was unusual, and I was left with an impression that I had interviewed well, though there was no way of knowing as I did not receive feedback after requesting it. Both interviewers were very nice, only adding to the impression that you are doing well.
Overall, a very confusing process, that could probably use a little more structure in order to get the kind of feedback that is certainly sought after!
