Interview
i was invited to a large group interview with about 9 other applicants. we were showed a video about mecca and its story and CEO and then split into groups. there were 3 main parts to the interview.
1. role play (given a customer/ host situation to act out in a small group with one employee guiding/ assessing us)
2. group problem solving (given a scenario of a day in store and a list of duties that needed to be completed that day. We had to rank them in order of importance while problem solving in a group of about 10. An employee described the scenario and marked us/ watched while we discussed. It was clear that they were looking at communication and teem work more than our answers.
3. one on one interview. (speed dating style where you sat 1 on 1 with an employee. They asked questions and presented scenarios for you to solve or asked you to give examples when you had overcome difficult situations in your previous jobs etc. This only lasted about 10 mins or less.)

It was a face to screen interview process. They would asked a few questions regarding your customer service experiences and skills. I.e Tell us a time when you went above and beyond for a customer

Tell us a time when you provided great customer service?
Went through 2 rounds of interviews. One online, and then one in person. Very detailed instructions and guidelines, however it took some time for the recruitor to get back to me and there was a mixup with whether I got accepted since I first received a decline of offer then later on received an acceptance letter. But noentheless, a very fun interview process and well thoughtout by the team.

group interview at a hotel in melbourne. we were split into groups and had a 15 minute group interview where we had to sell an eye mask. we then went on for a one on one interview that lasted about 5-10 minutes. my interview was with a store manager.
