I applied in-person. I interviewed at McDonald's (Hamilton, ON) in Feb 2026
Interview
I applied online and received a call a few days later to schedule an interview. The interview was held in person with the store manager and lasted around 15–20 minutes. Most of the questions were focused on customer service, availability, teamwork, and handling busy situations. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. They also explained the training process, work expectations, and scheduling flexibility. Overall, the process was straightforward and not too stressful.

Walk into the store and speak with the hiring manager. Straightforward, walk to the back and soeak with the team and learn about the company values. I received a phone call after applying for the job online.
It was quick and easy they want to know about your past work history how many hours you can work per week and what is your desired pay? Try not to get a part-time position. Try to get a full-time for benefits.
