I had a negative interview experience with Mastercard. After the initial steps, I was given a technical assignment to complete, which I submitted to the recruiter within the deadline. I was expecting to receive feedback within about a week, but heard nothing. I followed up with the recruiter, only to receive an automated response that they were on vacation and would return in a week. After waiting, I reached out again once the recruiter was supposed to be back but still received no reply or feedback. A few days later, I received an automated notification that another candidate had been selected. Overall, the lack of communication and feedback made the experience disappointing and unprofessional.
