I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Mastercard
Interview
A large number of interviews, fairly well-scheduled by New York and St. Louis offices. The early interviews focused on expertise and "Why do you want to work at MasterCard?" The later interviews really seemed to be about assessing fit for the company and the culture. Phone interview w/HR; phone interview w/Hiring Manager. Great follow-up by HR to stay on top of the process. Next round was phone screens with 3 of the Leadership team. Then HR follow-up. Next round was in-person with 3 of the Leadership team. Flowed pretty smoothly and was completed within about 6-7 weeks which included people being out of office on business. Offer was done after background check & start date was almost exactly 2 months after the first HR phone interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at Mastercard (São Paulo, )
Interview
Very organized, clear, transparent, timing was good and all the interviewers were always on time or flexible enough to make the conversations happen, excelent reception and communication with HR during the entire process.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mastercard (New York, NY)
Interview
Intense including HR panel and online testing. Their key HR people are in St Louis so the panel interview with them is hard to read since it's done over the phone.
