Interview
I interviewed with 1 guy who was a manager at another store, then the second guy I interviewed with was the manager at the store in which i was applying. It was a job fair, with lots of people, but a one on one interview each time.
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Marshalls in May 2012
Interview
I submitted an application in person and talked to the merch manager two days later. She said I would get a call the next day--when I didn't, I went back and talked to a different manager. She said they weren't looking for seasonal workers. That's fine, but I wonder why the other person I talked to didn't think my short availability would be a problem.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marshalls in Oct 2010
Interview
The easiest interview ever. They normally give people a 10 am Saturday Interview, you come in sit down in the back office and they ask you a series of questions. "Tell me about a time when..." ("Tell me about a time you didn't ge along with someone, what did you do? Tell me about a time you did something wrong, what did you do?" Etc. )
They'll ask you about an experience you have, what you liked the most, what you didn't, etc. Ask how much pay your asking for. The basics. Nothing is hard about this interview. In the year and a half I've been with the company they hire every single person they interview. A little odd, lazy or whatever else you can think of. Unless you tell them you plan on stealing you're more than likely to get the job.
