I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marshalls (Brooklyn, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
The average interview process. Phone call for a punctuality check, then interview request. Regular interview questions. A lot of the time, the managers might forget they have an interview. Making for a disgustingly uncomfortable experience at first.
But I became used to being saturated in that unprofessionalism as I worked with these people day in and day out.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Marshalls in Oct 2015
Interview
I filled out 3 applications. One online I was informed they never received it. I filled out a second one turned it in. Called 3 days later was informed again they didn't receive it. I filled out a third application and asked for the hiring manager and handed it to her. I inventively had an interview.
The interview went well. Karen was Informative which I appreciated. She seemed to be concern with the pay they offer minimum wage. Which I explain twice I was fine with. I'm looking for supplementary income.
My interview was two weeks ago. I called last week. Karen let me know she has more interviews to conduct.
So I'm still waiting.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Marshalls (Ottawa, ON) in Apr 2013
Interview
Casual and welcoming hiring manager. Did a quick tour of the building and then we had a pretty typical retail interview. Questions about my schooling, hobbies, how I dealt with customers in the past and why I left my previous job. The whole interview probably lasted 20-30 minutes, but some of that was just talking about ourselves and what the role of sales associate would be there.
