Question 1
On Campus interview that I could not make and was therefor offered a phone interview. Fairly straightforward and simple, situation questions based on your resume (team work, deal with conflict, etc). Went through a round of 4 1:1 interviews. The interview atmosphere was relaxed and conversational (tell me about yourself, what do you do in your spare time, etc).
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marsh in Feb 2012
Interview
It was mostly personality based. Standard behavioral questions were asked and that led to a few "Give me an example of when you've..." questions. Nothing new if you prepare standard questions. The panel interviews are largely for convenience: allow many people to evaluate your responses at the same time. Nothing is surprising.
