I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MAERSK in Jun 2025
Interview
I usually don’t post things like this, but silence after multiple interview rounds is frustrating.
I interviewed for the Software Engineer role at Maersk and completed my second round in June. It’s been almost a month, with no update, no response to emails, and no callbacks despite repeated follow-ups.
Candidates invest time, effort, and trust in the process. At the very least, we expect basic communication—an update, a closure, or anything.
This isn’t just about me—it’s about the experience companies offer to every candidate they engage with. I genuinely hope Maersk reflects on this.

It was good. The interview process begins with sharing your resume, followed by an initial screening and shortlisting phase. Once scheduling is done, it's time for research and preparation, ensuring you walk in with confidence. The process usually starts with a brief introduction, where your communication is assessed. Then come the questions and your answers, where body language also plays a key role. You may face technical and behavioral rounds, testing your problem-solving, coding, creativity, and logic. Afterward, you may receive feedback, ask for clarification, and maintain confidence throughout. This is often followed by an HR round, negotiation, and further assessment or evaluation, sometimes in front of a panel. After all these steps, a final decision is made, and if successful, you receive an offer, confirm acceptance, and begin onboarding into your new role.
It was an Easy process with nice recruiters asking a lot of the standard questions. It was What you would expect from a big company like mærsk. Would recommend to apply here
