Interview
Very easy. Ask you questions about their products and how you'd persuade someone to buy them. They want to see a confident attitude. They want you to be pushy toward making the sale.

Question 1
What's your favourite lush product? How would you feel it to someone?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lush (Leeds, England) in Nov 2018
Interview
Overall great interview experience, it was a group meeting where we learnt about each other and also what we could bring to the team. The questions were easy and understandable and the staff were very welcoming
Had to just turn up with a CV and joined a massive queue on a Sunday evening with no set end time making transport difficult.
Cringe roleplay activities for most of it, then a massive queue to be interviewed at the same time as about ten others by non-management and offered one of a presumably unlimited number of trial shifts after a few minutes chat and a glance at your CV.
I then worked four hours for free and definitely sold stuff and was friendly to everyone only to get rejected because I didn't have enough on my CV, so the whole thing could have been avoided had I been filtered out at the start but they got the free labour anyway.
Actual trial shift wasn't fun, you're encouraged to annoy people and not stop talking to them even when they really want you to go away with people watching to make sure you do so.
