I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lush (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Sep 2018
Interview
Group Interview - lots of role play. Asked to sell products. Product knowledge is necessary. Asked which super power you'd have if you could choose. Trial shift came after interview.
The recruitment was friendly and put me at ease. They asked important questions that provided the opportunity for me to showcase my previous experience relevant to the vacancy. The interviewer was taking notes which can be slightly distracting but overall it appeared to be a fair interview process.

I applied online. I interviewed at Lush (Brea, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
The interview process was broken down into two separate group interviews. The first one was more general. It seemed that they were gaging personalities and selecting those who they saw fit for their store values/image. After passing the first interview, you're invited to a second one where they have you do hypothetical demos where you sell different items in small groups (you don't need exact ingredient knowledge, they just want to see confidence and a personable personality). The worker will act as the guest and ask questions too and see how you respond. It sounds intimidating, but the store I was at was very welcoming and I got a call a week later to join the team!
