Lush interview questions

I had an interview with my manager in store which went great they then select one person to have another interview with someone from recruitment at head office, which was very aggressive and undermining. They then make their decision however the manager overules the whole process anyway, so its completely up to how impressive the first interview was.

I applied online with my CV and emailed the shop. I was emailied the next day asking to come to a group interview the next week. It was stated in the email to have knowledge on the gifts, three specific products and to create a fictional product. Group interview was held in the shop after hours. We were all brought in and the store manager and three other employees were there. The store manager quickly described the company, the salary and the job description. Next, we lined up and gave the store manager proof of ID, a P45 and an idea for a product that we were asked to do prior to the group interview. Next, we were divided into two groups. First, we were asked to pick a gift for a specific scenario. This is hard if you're not familiar with the gifts and their contents. Then, the groups swapped over and you're asked to demo and three products. I would recommend demoing three products that you can link sell together. The whole thing took about an hour. You either received a call stating you got the job and to come in for a trial on the shop floor or a call saying you didn't get the job.
