The recruitment process took approximately four to five weeks, though this may vary depending on the role applied for. It began with an initial screening conversation with the People team, followed by a take-home assessment. Next was a panel interview with the hiring manager and two team members. Candidates who progressed further were invited to an interview with the Head of Department, and the final stage was a “Moontality” interview with three team members to assess alignment with Luno’s core values—something the company is deeply passionate about.
Overall, the experience was positive. I was kept well-informed at every stage, and the People team, particularly Cameron Ward, was always helpful and took the time to answer any questions I had. The panel interviews were heavily focused on competency-based questions, so thorough preparation in this area is essential for success.
