The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Flint, MI) in Aug 2008
Interview
I applied for the position through the internal job posting system, I was selected along with 3 other people to interview. During the interview I had a 1 on 1 with the Store Manager, and Zone Manager over the specified area. The Questions asked were situational "Tell me about a time when you were faced with a difficult situation, how did you deal with it, and what was the outcome" All the questions were sales, and customer service based, with a few that consisted of leadership, and development techniques, and also conflict management. The interview was very professional, the expectations for the position were clearly defined, with an opportunity to discuss them on the spot. Advice I can give to someone interviewing, Be confident, know what you are talking about, and don't stop talking until they stop you.

The interview process was smooth. You first get an 1:1 interview with the human resources associate, then an 1:1 interview with a manager, and finally an 1:1 interview with the store manager. Following a drug test you will then receive a call from the human resources associate offering the position.
