I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement in Apr 2010
Interview
I applied online. Was called aprox. 2 weeks later to interview. I had worked for this company in the past. I was very experienced in selling appliances. The interview went very well. I thought I had the job. I was told by the hr manager that they actually wanted me but that management above the store manager wanted to put a displaced worker in this position. Although I truly needed this job, I do understand why they did what they did. As I had worked for Lowe's in the past I can say that overall they were very good to me. I wish I had not quit in the first place. I did leave on good terms and this was why there was no problem in being interviewed. My next sales job started out great, but then started to nose dive due to the economy.

Interview
I applied online and received a call from the human resource manager within 3 days of applying. My first and second interviews, which were with the HRM and the sales manager, were conducted on the same day within an hour apart. The HRM called me the next day to schedule the third interview with the store manager. After talking to the store manager for about 10-15 minutes, he offered me a cashier position.
The first two interviews consisted of questions..."Tell me an experience where you were misinformed by a boss. or Tell me an experience where you gave the wrong information to someone." The answers can be based on school or employment experience. The third interview questions were the typical questions you would expect..."Why do you want to work for Lowe's, etc."
