I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (College Station, TX) in Sep 2013
Interview
Filled out job app. online. WIthing 3 days I was called to come in for an interview. I had an interview with the HR and it was seriously the typical questions that you'll find if you search on google "job interview questions". The guy was nice, I didn't get the job I called back and I was told I was the fifth on the list out of 27 people and that they interview the first three on the list first and then move on from there.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lowe's Home Improvement (Mooresville, NC) in Oct 2010
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiting firm to apply for a position at Lowe's HQ (contract). The interview was about as easy as it could be...sat with the hiring manager and a creative director for about an hour and we walked through my resume and portfolio. They were very nice and made me feel instantly welcome.

Question 1
Because this was a contractor position there were no difficult questions, just "tell me about yourself" kind of stuff. If you apply for a full-time position however, you will be asked a minimum of three of the annoying HR questions.
