I think the initial position was at Linkedin which took me to their website and I applied there.
After a couple of weeks, I received an automated email from Leo, their AI Bot to schedule interviews. It was the scheduled for following week. A 2 day process in which they have company presentations, interviews and office hours.
Your resume has to be hand picked by the manager(s) in order to get to the interview. Some people can have multiple interviews with different managers some like me , only had 1.
I was interviewed by my future manager and 1 other person. Both said they worked at LM for 20+ years. Nice, friendly and professional folks.
The interview was pretty straight forward and simple. They go through your resume, projects and other things you've mentioned there. They asked me only 1 situational question apart from that, which was pretty basic. No coding or tricky questions.
Once the interview was over, I received an Offer after 2.5 weeks. You can't start immediately as you have to go through the rigorous security clearance process, which can take up to 6 months (if interim is not granted to you).
Even though I didn't know the technologies that they use, I was still offered a position. They mostly look at your personality and see if you have interest in the company and the ability to learn and adapt.
