The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Herndon, VA) in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview was easy. We talked over the phone, me and a manager, a lead, and a senior employee in the group. The questions asked and the answers given didn't seem to matter. I didn't really want the job that badly...it certainly was not my first choice, so I barely tried. I know I didn't say or do anything stellar, but they still offered me the job. I still am not sure why they made me an offer...? I think I just had the right background within the company. I had held a couple related job roles. They also didn't try hard to "sell" me on the position, saying things like, "This isn't a superstar type of position. This is something people do for a little while before moving on to something else."

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Houston, TX) in Nov 2025
Interview
It was a 1 round interview process. They used general questions, but expected you to connect your past technical experience to the technical parts of the job. Doing background research about the company culture, and job functions is very important.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in May 2024
Interview
This was specifically for a role in material estimating. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions about the role. My interview expereince was unique in that I was asked to ask questions about the role as my first question.
They wanted answers to questions in STAR format. Interview process was fairly short, went in person for interview. I had 2 people interviewing me together. Overall it was a good experience.
