Interview
online apply, online tests, phone interview, assessment centre. it was like a normal assessment centre. everyone there was friendly and helped us a lot. travelling there is bit of a long ride if you dont live there but they offered and gave me a hotel.

Interview
I won't go into too much detail about the exercises in the assessment centre as they were very keen for us to not discuss what happened with eachother, but it's all fairly standard: a group exercise, a couple of brief individual exercises, and an interview consisting of you presenting your dissertation followed by a formal interview. The interview was mostly HR led so not too much about the specifics of engineering, but it is conducted by both a HR member of staff as well as an engineering member of staff so it helps to swat up a little bit before hand.
Overall a good experience though, nothing too tricky, nothing boring, and the Leonardo staff were at pains to make us feel comfortable and settle any nerves. Nothing was designed to catch you out.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Leonardo (Luton, South West England, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
Meet and great on site with a site tour, given a few hours free time at the hotel (hemel) before dinner and wine with fellow applicants. Breakfast paid for the morning after before group exercises, presentation, written test, (lunch with assessors) interview. Whole session was laid back and quite a refreshing approach to the assessment centre, as they kept saying, "as much about you getting to know us, as it is us getting to know you".
