I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at L'Occitane (Sídney) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was fairly informal, the manger was really nice and friendly. It was just a general chat about my work experience, my skills, and about what I was studying. She asked about my product knowledge and advised that all training can be provided on how to sell the products
As part of the screening process, they have you take n “assessment” - working with numbers, spelling, grammar complex reasoning. They also have you take a temperament test. I thought the questions were a little odd for the role.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Personality assessment asked questions about confidence, orientation, persistence, but also questions about if you are someone who gets angry easily, change your mood, or if you think people talk behind your back…
Very friendly and relaxed. It was more to see if I fit into the company culture and team. It was like an everyday conversation with no pressure to be someone you are not
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Who are you? What do you do everyday? Your strengths?
I had a phone interview and two in person interviews to determine fit with the team/company. Pretty straightforward interview - they were just looking to confirm customer service skills and interest/knowledge in the product.
