I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroll
Interview
Typical Industry questions. Very straightforward. Met with two directors and a managing director. Standard interview process; very comfortable. The entire interview process including the initial contact took about three weeks to be completed before making an offer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kroll (Mumbai) in Jun 2025
Interview
I was very let down by the interview experience. The company requires five rounds of interviews for the role, and it took over a month to receive any feedback. Recruiters do not proactively reach out with updates, leaving candidates to chase for information. Even when I followed up for feedback, the recruiter seemed indifferent and took me for granted. It took over 30 to 45 days to receive feedback (luckily, I was proactive in seeking updates) and the response I got was, “WE NO LONGER NEED THAT POSITION AS THE WORK HAS BEEN MANAGED BY ANOTHER TEAM INTERNALLY.” My question is, why was the job opening posted on job portals if you don't actually require someone to fill the role? It’s a complete shame to waste someone’s time and effort on a position you no longer need.
