I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger
Interview
Interviews are relatively standard. They want to know about strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, times that you have failed to achieve a goal, times where you have succeeded in achieving a goal. For a department head or backup position you will be interviewed by a manager for all other positions below that level it will be with a hiring coordinator. They only call for one interview and usually get back to you withing 2weeks of interviewing
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Kroger (Carbondale, IL) in Mar 2013
Interview
The first stage of my interview process was a video conference interview with a Division H.R. Management recruiter at my District office. The next step is a phone interview with a District H.R. manager and a Store manager which I have next week. After that is a panel interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I think the most difficult question for me was my expected salary. I didn't want to undersell myself but I didn't want to overprice myself either. I gave them a base salary but said I was negotiable.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Nashville, TN) in Aug 2009
Interview
Applied instore and was called to interview the next day. Was very quick. Just asked very basic background questions. I dont think there were any personality questions at all. Overall very easy process which is expected for a very low skilled job
