I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (North Indianapolis, IN) in Jul 2013
Interview
I got a call back the next day after applying online. I think it's because I didn't have any charges against me. I was then interviewed by some lady who tried to tell me all the places Kroger could take me... I was then given a drug test in front of everyone (oral drug test) and started my training the next day.

Question 1
Nothing really just typical questions anyone asks.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2013
Interview
Very long second interview with four Kroger manager-types. All were very polite. Interview took two hours including power point presentation. Standard behavior based questions. They wanted very detailed answers to their questions. I would recommend that any interviewee brush up on the STAR approach to these type of interviews. First interview was quite easy and subsequent online questions took just two hours to answer fully.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Lawrence, KS) in Aug 2012
Interview
I submitted multiple applications for different positions and it was quite a while before I was called in for an interview. The Interview was pretty laid back, typical interview questions and the HR manager was very friendly. Interview lasted around 15 minutes and ended with a job offer and me signing papers that day. Im fairly sure they had already decided whether or not they were going to hire me before I came in and the interview was just a formality.
