I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Elgin, SC) in Aug 2014
Interview
From Kroger webpage I applied for a warehouse position online a few hours later Operations Mgr called me and did a phone interview screening prior to formal interview with him and another team resource leader. Showed up for the interview and the receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming. She even offered that she loved working there, Nicole was her name. Did not have to wait HR greeted me and we walked into a meeting room with 3 other people. Panel interview for a warehouse job?? was surprised initially, but then they were so warm and welcoming just figured that is how things work down here in SC, I am recently from Boston & West Palm Beach. There were 15 questions and some of them were indeed redundant. Too bad they could not of sent out a electronic personality test questionnaire like other jobs of this entry level. I was told on the phone all associates are hired at entry level. Even ones with MBA? (wanted to rebuttal that question).
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Lawrenceville, GA) in Jul 2010
Interview
I started as a cashier and got moved to floral. It's honestly not hard, you apply and if your results from your application are "green", they will usually give you a call if they need a spot filled. I got called in for an interview, they did a background check, I took a drug test, and almost immediately started training.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Kroger (Houston, TX) in May 2014
Interview
I went online and filled out the applicant information, sent in my cover letter, resume and list of references. Then I took a personality/skills test online. A couple of days later, I received a phone call from my local Kroger store to set up an interview. I was sent to my regional Kroger store for a face-to-face group interview session. The recruiters there gave me some forms to fill out, asked me a few questions and I got the job. It was a great experience! Everyone there was so nice and helpful.
