I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger in Jan 2015
Interview
After seeing a flyer in the store for a job fair, I applied for the position online. The application process was quick and consisted of filling out standard forms followed by a two part test. I then went to the job fair at the posted time and location. There were 6 other people there. The "job fair" was more like a group interview. We were each given two sheets of paper. The first one had four questions on one side. The questions were essentially what was your favorite job, what was your least favorite job, what does good customer service mean to you, and what skills do you feel that you lack. The lady who conducted the interview listened to each of us read our answers out to the group. On the other side of the first page we were asked to write down our favorite item sold in the store, and then convince her to buy it by explaining why the item is the best. On the second sheet of paper we were asked to write down our availability.
At the end of the interview, everyone that had completed an application online was asked to take an oral drug screen and were told if they passed it and the background check they would be offered a job.

Interview
Turned in my application online and got a call about two weeks later. I had talked to the pharmacy manager about hiring me since they were looking for people. I came in and interviewed with the pharmacy manager for about 30 minutes. He asked me about my schedule, my certification, if I was a registered tech, and also some quick things about pharmacy. I was hired on the spot. I came in for a drug test and background test a week later.
