I applied online. I interviewed at Kroger (Boston, MA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Very casual, go into the back and talk to the hiring manager/supervisor. They ask you a few simple questions alongside other potential hires, only a single person interviewing you. Getting the interview was also very easy, afterwards they tell you whether or not you're hired in the spot.

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2024
Interview
Fairly laid back. Interviewer had a great personality. Seemed to go well. Not too many difficult questions. Pretty straightforward process. Spoke to some of the other people that worked there and they seemed pretty happy with their job.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Kroger in Mar 2024
Interview
From start to finish, it took them 5 months to let me know that I didn't get the job, lol. Honestly, quite laughable at best. I had one interview and months of waiting. I don't think I've ever waited this long to hear back from them. The initial interview took a little over a month to get them to set one up from when I applied. It wasn't overly hard. Just your typical questions. I didn't think I did too bad, but after waiting another 4 months, and after an apology on their end during the interview on how long it took for them to get back to me initially, They declined to offer me a job anyway. I've applied there before when I was an overnight stocker and never got a chance to interview for that position. So, just let downs left and right from Kroger. Can't say I'll be interviewing there again. I mean, we're people and we also don't like waiting...months in this case. Not sure why companies are taking so long to get back to people now. But Kroger was appalling on the wait time to hear back. I don't recommend applying here.
