Interview
The day after I submitted my online application for Kroger found on Indeed.com, I received a phone call and immediately had a phone screening interview from someone at the corporate office. He just asked me a couple questions like "why did I want to work at Kroger" and "what were my greatest strengths" stuff like that. He then set me up with an in person interview at my local Kroger the very next day. I wore an interview appropriate outfit. The manager acted like I already had the job. She just went over my availability and how soon I could start. She sent me to talk to someone in HR where I was given an oral swab drug test, a few more forms to fill out, my work shirt, and details for a mandatory orientation I had to attend before I could begin work.
